Commonly used in Chinese medicine Moxi is made from dried mugwort that is applied to skin surface. It is a form of heat therapy that invigorates the flow of Chi in the body and to dispel certain pathogenic influences.
Cupping is a technique of using suction to employ a negative pressure rather than compression. Cupping on the musculoskeletal system removes adhesion, stretches soft tissue, lengthens connective tissue, increases joint hydration, releases compressed structures and neurological stimulation.
ENERGETIC MUSCLE TESTING
At its most basic level muscle testing is used to check if individual muscles are functioning properly. The practitioner places your limbs into specific positions and then applies firm or light pressure depending on the type of testing being employed. The quality of response to this pressure determines whether or not the muscle is working properly or facilitated, or not working properly inhibited. Imbalances in the muscle tone result in structural deviations that can cause a verity of client complaints from discomfort and pain to more serious conditions of dis-ease.
Heat, cold or contrast of both therapies is a non-invasive approach to reduce pain, swelling, bruising, etc. Your practitioner will advise you on which to use based on your needs

SPORTS MEDICINE ACUPUNCTURE

Kinesiology taping is a form of taping movements not muscles. It is an elastic therapeutic taping method that is used for rehabilitation, edema, neuropathic pain, scar mobility, and posture improvement.
